2006 Ohio HIT Summit

October 23, 2006 at Quest Business Centers

Topical Area Meetings

The meetings in date order below detail topical areas that were discussed.

Stakeholders from all areas were encouraged to attend any meeting they find interesting. For each topic

area, participants identified their vision for the role of health information technology and exchange,

develop a business case for pursuing that vision, identify barriers to adoption of health information

technology and exchange of health information, and identify solutions to address those barriers.

STATEMENT OF AGGREGATION OF RESPONDENT FEEDBACK

This project is about Health Information Security and Privacy in Ohio.

Since this project is about collecting the actual practices, policies, and privacy issues as they are in our state, we want to make the environment of our meetings open, safe and respectful of all of our contributions.

Your name or direct identification will not be attached to the records generated from the meeting. We ask that all participants will do the same or not participate, as this idea is central to the project's success.
